(Stained Glass Artwork)

Stained Glass Globes This big globe is eight feet tall and six feet in diameter. It required over 2000 hours in the making and includes all the correct political borders, the four winds, nautical symbols, and the griffin - the guardian of the globe. The harp stand is made of steel and tilts at the same angle as the Earth itself. The globe rotates and is lit from within.

The medium globe stands six feet tall and thirty inches in diameter. It required over 350 hours to make and includes most of the same elements as the larger globe.

"I picked glass up as a hobby while studying biology at Sonoma State University in Northern California. It quickly became obvious that I was meant to cut glass and not cells. I opened my first shop at the Old Mill and Wine Village in Glen Ellen, California in 1968. I have remained in Northern California adorning churches, restaurants, hotels and private homes for the last thirty-six years. I have always tried to make the next piece I work on better than the last." - Larry Brookins
