Well this started out as a jar, but I haven't been able to find a cork big enough to fit it so I thought....hmmmm....a candle votive! I think it looks really neat and wish I had made a set of them. Oh well next time!
Around the base is a bangle that is not attached but I thought accented the bottom well. I bought the bangles as a set at a fleamarket in NC a few years back. The woman seemed to think they were from Mexico. They are a turquoise opalesent glass bangle surrounded by some type of silver metal that is stamped with fillagree and dragon type designs. In the center on each is a triangle with an eye in the middle. Anyone have any clue where they could be from?
