Here are a bunch of random photos of glass pieces I have made and a few shots of the studio.
Will You Marry Me?
The butterfly I made for my wife asking her to marry me. It measures about 13 inches across, 15 inches high, TOTALLY handmade. Took me about 15 hours to complete. THANK GOD she said yes!

Candle Stick set
My first attempt of making a set of candle sticks. They have a nice twist of Dichro going through the center mixed with moss and cobalt. Lot's of sparkle.

Hot Air Balloon
This is a hot air balloon I made for my wife's grandfather in 2001. We have since changed the design a bit and switched the *ropes* from hemp to wire, it just looks nicer that way.

Prop Dragon Fly
These are the most popular creations I sell. This particular wing design is the most requested, I however prefer the traditional dragon fly wing design of just two rather than four.

Selfridge Studios
Welcome to our little space on the net. We hope you enjoy your visit!

Selfridge Studios is the creation of my wife Kari and I. In the beginning we were known as Rocky Top Designs, our studio was nestled in the rolling foothills of the Smoky Mountains. We recently relocated to Northwestern Pa to persue our happiness and be closer to our families. Our studio is now nestled in the Allgheny National Forest where the inspiration is endless! We share our home with our amazing daughter and a handful of furry pets.

I've been involved in lampworking since 1999. It is my sole occupation and I am proud that I am able to support my family by doing something I love. I look forward to each day at work and that is something to be cherished. My wife recently opened a studio in our small community. We are VERY excited about this. We offer classes, workshops, free daily demonstrations and work with the local Charter school. I am thrilled to give the younger generation the opportunity to play with some glass.

You can view my current wares for sale at www.kariselfridge.etsy.com I also accept custom orders.

Thanks for checking us out. Have a great day!

Bright Blessings...
Rich
