I was full time Artist/painter until September 2004 - when all my glass studio goodies arrived in the mail. I haven't left my studio since! I now have to schedule set days and times to paint because I am obsessively in love with glass.

I love the "vignette" theme - little beads sets that tell a little story. This idea came to me from a childs story book. I have several themes coming!

A fun combo of zebra presses and my hibiscus flowers! The zebra presses are ultra crisp and a great foil to the hot tropical flowers!

My Husband will tell you - If you build her a beautiful glass studio - you will ALWAYS know where she is! This studio began as a playhouse for our three children but after they "outgrew" it we remodelled it into my little dollhouse studio.

My middle name is actually "Rose", and roses have always been sort of my personal theme. I am crazy about pink roses in particular but any two toned rose will do. I have a little rose garden of my own right outside my studio for inpiration!

I am a lucky Mom of three crazy kids (17, 13 and 9 years old), a painter and a glass artist. I wake up every day with an image in my head and next have to decide what medium I will use to develop it. When people ask me why I'm not painting as much anymore, I say "I am painting more than ever but somedays I do it with hot glass!" I mourn for people without creative outlets. My wish for others is to know the incredible happiness my careeer brings me. I have been lampworking since September 2004 and use a minor bench burner, propane-oxy con mix and a digitally controlled kiln. I am dulcineabeads on ebay and also have a great website for my glass and paintings. I hope you enjoy my galleries. Thank you for looking. Katherine
