An overview of work by Milissa Montini. As you can tell, this work is a combination of flameworked murrine, cold work, fusing and slumping. One of these pieces could take months of design time to get into conception... and then the work takes longer. lol (She's gonna beat me for this description). Milissa has been working in glass for a long time. Her works are in Museums and private collections in the U.S. and abroad. She is also an avid animal lover.
I want to fuse now!
Im giving up lampworking and am going to come study from with you guys! Good to see some new pics of Millisa's work. I love showing this gallery to people who dont know the amazing things that can be done with fused glass. Please dont beat Rex to badly he's fragile! LOL I hope to make it out to PA again this year and would love to see you guys again! aloha Jup
