This piece is kind of interesting... one of the smaller pieces of Milissa's plates.
The other shots are process shots and miscelaneous stuff. The jasmime flower has a time lapsed video that was presented at the Gathering and will be presented again at the 2008 International Flame Conference. Eventualy, once the sound is added, we might market the video.

An overview of work by Milissa Montini. As you can tell, this work is a combination of flameworked murrine, cold work, fusing and slumping. One of these pieces could take months of design time to get into conception... and then the work takes longer. lol (She's gonna beat me for this description). New pics are coming soon as the new works are completed. Rex

Milissa has been working in glass for a long time. Her works are in Museums and private collections in the U.S. and abroad. She is also an avid animal lover.
