More experimenting with color and design. I really like her hair ornament in the front, looks like a crescent moon.

I tried something a little different. I was working on a collector geisha but loved the colors and wanted more to show. SQUISH! Plus the flattened bottoms make them more user friendly when worn as a pendant, less likely to flip over.

I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon, thanks to my mother who is also an artist. It wasn't until I began working with hot glass May 2005 that something really sparked inside of me. As a self-taught glass artist, I hope my beads are just the beginning of a long and adventurous career into this astounding medium.
