A kiln with an infinate switch will need babysat, not that big of a deal really, unless you want to go away. check out the controllers at www.thompsonenamels.com under furnaces, near the bottom of the page. Set it and forget it. The digital programers, most are okay, some you need a phd in electrical configuration before you can grasp what its telling you. my 2 cents.

I know that this is an old post but for people who are still looking for kilns I would say that I got a 99ls from aim kilns and I love it. Its a cheaply priced kiln but nice in size with a front loading door. If your looking for digital this kiln also can come with a digi (I got the analog) and I think with the digi it runs about 800............I hope this is some help to some of you all.
