OK I see people's work and they will use black on the exteral of tubs or in solid form and it looks very smooth and dark yet every time I try and use black on the exteral it comes out all sivlery looking......I haven't tried many blacks besides black and blackhole from northstar...is it me running my torch to hot or is it the color rods. If any one cam help me i really good use it

i use an extremely oxidizing flame to ensure the grey/silver doesnt come out.

Another great black to use is Northstar Onyx.

Thanks for the help I'll try out onyx and i'll try use a bit mor of a oxidizing flame when I use blacks.....

Try to Clear coat the coler or coat it with a transparent color so the black stills shows thru. ie: cover black with colbalt and you'll get a real dark blue black with no haze 'cause the colbalt covers the black. Good luck let me know how it works. geppetto :idea:
