SGAA is getting ready to host another edition of its Annual FlameOff!, Saturday, February 7th, 2009!! This year's FlameOff! will be held at the Barrio Brewing Company, 5 minutes from SGAA. Registration is open to 24 flameworkers only, so register soon to assure your spot in this exhilarating event! Participation for the event is $15 per artist.
Our FlameOff! is a chance for glass artists to get together during Tucson's beautiful winter weather to celebrate and connect with the flameworking community while also raising funds for SGAA's mission of providing a diverse spread of glass art classes to all types of students. Over the years, the FlameOff! has become a very important event for us and we are thrilled to have it in our Annual Events Calendar at this great new venue! The Barrio Brewery is able to accommodate more attendees than our facilities, and features a selection of 10 microbrews, delicious bar food, and a great atmosphere. We ask that participants please refrain from enjoying Barrio's beers until after their shift, so to keep it family friendly; we appreciate your cooperation.
