Blue Lagoon Creations-Brittany Beads

My name is Brittany Fern and I am a mother of 1 teen son. I live in the country on 10 acres in beautiful Oregon and the lovely scenery here often inspires me.I have always been enchanted by glass, the colors and the way light plays on the surface of a beautiful piece. I started with stained glass over 10 years ago but I became mesmerized when I saw torch work at a local mall. I knew melting glass would be something that I would learn in the future. One day I found a wonderful book on making glass beads and the next day I went out and bought my first torch, a Hot Head! From then on I was totally hooked and several years later I have graduated to doing sculpture work and pushing myself to learn more. I enjoy the challenge that hot glass can be at times and when I learn something new I master that and then move on to the next.
I make a LOT of floral beads in sets, focals and now sculptural beads. I often sell them on ebay and soon on my website www.bluelagooncreations.com. Thanks for stopping by!
